Potter 4 Kids

About Possum Potters

Possum Potter began in 2003 with a realisation of using an age old craft in new and exciting ways to benefit the general development of our children. This philosophy became the driving force behind the creation of Possum Potters.

Dalene Groom & Colleen Black set out to realise their dream. Being mothers they immediately realised the benefit and joy that children derive from their unique pottery program! They have now reached the stage where, through customer demand, it has become necessary to share the unique Possum Potters Business Opportunity with you!

Dalene Groom

Dalene travelled the world as a cabin attendant for some years while also studying psychology, business management and marketing.
"During this time I became aware of a desire to develop and manage my own business. This desire was aimless until I came across the concept of pottery not only as a creative outlet, but as a therapeutic and educational tool."
Having emigrated to Australia from South Africa in 2001, Dalene realised the unique business opportunity offered by the Franchise model to small businesses such as Possum Potters. At the very heart of the Possum Potters approach is the central premise of the Franchise model, to create and perfect successful business systems which is then operated by meticulously trained people.
