About Possum Potters

Possum Potter began in 2003 with a realisation of using an age old craft in new and exciting ways to benefit the general development of our children. This philosophy became the driving force behind the creation of Possum Potters.

Dalene Groom set out to realise her dream. Being a mother she immediately realised the benefit and joy that children derive from their unique pottery program! Dalene travelled the world as a cabin attendant for some years while also studying psychology, business management and marketing.
"During this time I became aware of a desire to develop and manage my own business. This desire was aimless until I came across the concept of pottery not only as a creative outlet, but as a therapeutic and educational tool."
